The Champions League season ended on Saturday.
Chelsea FC won the premier class final against Manchester City 1-0 thanks to Kai Havertz’s goal. On Monday, UEFA published the team of the season, put together by eleven technical observers around Steffen Freund, Patrick Viera and Gareth Southgate.
Of the German teams are David Alaba, who moves to Real Madrid, Robert Lewandowski (both FC Bayern) and Erling Haaland (BVB) represented three players in the 23-man squad of the best Champions League players. With Antonio Rüdiger there is also a German national player.
