The spokesperson for Ciudadanos in Congress, Inés Arrimadas, has been ironic about the latest government measure to guarantee the first home mortgage and has said that the next thing will be to offer a 30% reduction in the price of housing “if you vote for the PSOE ”.
During his press conference in Congress, Arrimadas has branded the measure as “electoralist” and has indicated that Sánchez “is not enough to make promises of things that he has not fulfilled in five years of power.”
“If the word of Pedro Sánchez is worth little in general, in the campaign it is worth nothing. In other words, it is usually the reverse, what Pedro Sánchez tells you, because the opposite is what is going to happen ”, he remarked.
In this line, Arrimadas has indicated that in this electoral framework the Government is going to announce “whatever”. “I really believe that in the campaign they are going to tell you that if you vote for the PSOE they will increase your salary or give you a house,” said the Ciudadanos spokesperson.
In addition, he has blurted out that months ago it was the PSOE itself that did not trust this measure, for which reason it considers the announcement a “lack of respect” in a “very serious issue”, since access to housing is one of the main problems of young people.
