Asked on Sunday evening, in a TV show, if there are Russian companies in Romania that financially supply the Kremlin during this war, Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca said that three companies and two individuals were identified in this regard and subject to sanctions.
“The institution that deals with this issue is ANAF and, of course, the other institutions and so far three entities and two individuals have been identified. It comes under sanctions at the hands of the Romanian authorities. We are obliged to implement the decisions that were taken at the level of the European Union “, Nicolae Ciucă stated at Digi 24.
According to the Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance announced that the assets of the five were blocked “as soon as they were identified”.
