A deliberation was unanimous on September 28, in the urban council. All elected officials had approved a new cycling plan for the period 2024-2029.
This document provides the territory with a road map until 2029 with, as a focus, the creation of 55.8 km of cycle paths. “We all want to accelerate this development, we are a territory that is very behind, like many others, concedes Émilie Laforge, advisor responsible for gentle pathways. The objective is to develop daily home/work journeys, but also walks, shopping circuits, visiting sites in the city.”
