The city administration of Staufenberg has therefore called on the workforce to donate blood. For this purpose, an appointment for Thursday, February 18, could be arranged with the mobile donation team of the Center for Transfusion Medicine and Haemotherapy at the University Hospital Giessen. This means that the city administration’s blood donation takes place “on one’s own doorstep”, so to speak. Just two days after the call to the employees, according to Mayor Peter Gefeller, numerous donors are ready to set an example together to do something good despite Corona and to help others. “Of course, the donation takes place under strict corona protection precautions. On behalf of the magistrate, I would like to thank all donors who, despite Corona, send a strong signal with their donation and show their willingness to save lives, ”said Gefeller.
