1. The historic center
In the heart of the historic center of Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin), the Place de la Réunion is not an evocation of the island in the Indian Ocean. But that of the reunion of Mulhouse with France, in 1798. The city was previously independent.
In the Middle Ages, this square was the center of political, religious and economic life.
Nowadays, it is distinguished by beautiful Renaissance houses, narrow and colorful. But also by the old town hall (16th century), with the pink facade and decorated with frescoes.
There is also the Saint-Etienne temple. Dating from the 19th century, this temple houses magnificent stained glass windows from the 14th century. Which were in the old Catholic Church, on which it was built. Imposing, it is the tallest Protestant building in France. Witness to the success of Protestant industrialists.
Picturesque pedestrian streets start from Place de la Réunion.

5. The Little Prince’s Park
A poetic side, Mulhouse conceals an original place: the Little Prince park.
A wonderful universe, around the theme of flight and travel from planet to planet. With around thirty aerial attractions: tethered balloons 150 m above the ground, roller coaster, giant trampoline …
For families, but not only. The universe of Saint-Exupéry has no age.
