The City of Ostend will unveil a unique work of art on Ostend-Doverplein on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 2 p.m. Artist Maxime Van Besien created a four-meter high Ensor portrait from hay, straw and reeds. The work of art is the largest sculpture from natural materials ever made in Belgium. Thanks to the musical tones with the brass band Orchester, the unveiling will be a real party.
