City of Kortrijk warns against false email for booster shot: “Never give your bank details for a vaccination”

The City of Kortrijk warns that a phishing mail is circulating about the third vaccination, the booster shot. The message looks very much like an invitation letter from the Flemish government, but those who click through must log in via their bank. This is how the scammers try to get to your bank details. According to the city of Kortrijk, the message also circulates with invitations from other vaccination centers. So far, only one person has fallen into the trap.

The city emphasizes that bank details are never asked for a vaccination, because the vaccine is free.
