The Government of Mexico City informs that new sanitary measures are established in the 200 priority attention colonies for COVID-19, with the aim of detecting and isolating positive cases of this disease. In order to reduce infections in these colonies, in agreement with the organizations of merchants and businessmen, the following measures will be taken:
- Closing of shops, businesses and non-essential establishments at 5:00 p.m.
- The withdrawal of the sale of food on public roads, with financial support
- Strengthening the use of face masks and sanitary measures in all economic activities Likewise, the intervention in the flea markets will be strengthened in coordination with the mayors, taking the following measures:
● Sale of food only to take away
● Mandatory use of face masks for merchants and customers
It is important that all people, but even more the neighbors of these neighborhoods:
- Stay at home, if it is not necessary to go out, do not go out
- If it is essential for them to go out, wear a mask and always keep a healthy distance
- No parties, no posadas or gatherings with friends and family
- Purchases should only be made by one person in the household
- If you are positive for Covid-19, isolate yourself for 15 days and call Locatel at 55 56 58 11 11 for medical follow-up
Likewise, as part of the priority neighborhood program and the actions to face the Covid-19 pandemic, Mexico City has the capacity to carry out 20 thousand daily tests, this allows isolating more positive cases and providing support through the Responsible and Protected Homes Program, as well as medical monitoring. To facilitate access to the general population and residents of priority neighborhoods, it is reported that:
- There are 229 points where COVID-19 tests are carried out for free, distributed in: a. 117 health centers. b. 33 health kiosks in priority care neighborhoods. c. 50 macro kiosks. d. 29 hospitals in the SEDESA network
- Rapid antigen tests are available at all 229 sites and have results in 20 minutes.

Likewise, it is reported that the 200 neighborhoods register a total of 8,398 active cases, which represent 38 percent of the total positive cases in Mexico City. If the cases in the neighboring neighborhoods are considered, they together represent 55 percent of the active cases in the City. The 200 neighborhoods that are part of the Priority Care Program are listed below.
