Increase in city cycling: Düsseldorf has improved its result from last year (2020). The participants cycled over 1.5 million kilometers this year – around 300,000 more than in the previous year. This first balance can be drawn this morning (June 17th) because the action came to an end that night.
Kilometers could be added until midnight, now it’s a stop. The first figures show that cycling is on the rise in Düsseldorf: The increase in kilometers is of course also due to the fact that more people took part this year. Last year there were over 400 teams, this year more than 500. As in the previous year, the two largest teams collected the most kilometers: the teams from Henkel and ERGO. The Antenne Düsseldorf team with listeners went up from 23rd place last year to 12th place.
