The debate over the Hammersborg Tunnel on Ring 1 has long raged. According to the project, the tunnel will be reconstructed and lowered by 10 meters. It’s about security in the new government quarter. The price will be at least NOK 3.1 billion.
The reconstruction will take three years. During this period the road must be closed to traffic.
