San Diego de la Unión, Gto.- In City Hall session, This morning the dry law was approved that prohibits any establishment that offers alcoholic beverages from selling the product after 8 at night, the measure is also focused on consumption, since citizens will not be allowed to drink on public roads, or in places rented for parties or other types of meetings.
After 2 hours of debating the point, it was agreed by the plenary session of the city council that these measures would be taken in accordance with the provisions of the Secretary of Health of the state of Guanajuato, in the same way it was agreed that this will be subject to the regulations in where all businessmen who have an alcohol permit must abide by the starting times depending on their line of business and refrain from marketing, serving or distributing alcoholic beverages after 8 pm throughout the municipality.
In another of the provisions, It was agreed that the masses can only be celebrated with a capacity of 20% and it is analyzed that they can only be held on Sundays, having specific hours for them and supervision of civil protection so that the measures are met, asking the priests to promote the use of masks and sanitary measures, Eucharistic celebrations such as baptisms, first communions, fifteen years, weddings, pilgrimages and patron saint festivities are suspended, until the health authorities decide something different.
It was noted that in the case of flea markets, access for people over 60 will only be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., not allowing access to more than one person per family, resuming the organization of sanitary filters by the municipal authorities.
In the same way, the legal department of the administration was notified so that they can find the legal effects so that a fine can be established for not using a mask, either in cash or in community work, to any citizen who does not use the mask.
