Manchester City stay comfortable at the top Premier League standings. Temporary Manchester United, penetrate the top four leaving Arsenal and Spurs who stumbled.
Week 23 Premier League took place on Saturday (23/1) and Sunday (24/1). Many exciting matches are presented!
Manchester United was able to win dramatically over West Ham United 1-0. The winning goal had to be waited for until the last minute, 90+3 via Marcus Rashford.
Manchester City slipped. The Citizens only drew 1-1 against Southampton, which ended Pep Guardiola’s 12-game winning streak. Even though he only brought home one point, his position is still safe at the top Premier League standings temporary.
Liverpool able to win 3-1 over Crystal Palace. Without the presence of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, who each defended their country in the Africa Cup of Nations, the Reds remained mighty.
Arsenal stumbled again. The Gunners only won 0-0 against Burnley.
Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur will be the last match in Premier League last weekend. The Blues were too strong for the Spurs, winning 2-0.
Premier League standings meanwhile, Manchester City lead with 57 points. Liverpool is in second place with 48 points and Chelsea in third place with 47 points.
Manchester United penetrated the top four with 38 points, shifting West Ham with 37 points. Arsenal and the Spurs are in sixth and seventh place with 36 points each.
Premier League will then play the 24th week starting Wednesday (9/2) in the morning WIB. This weekend in January, there is an international break first and then the FA Cup event.
