Cîțu boasts that Romania has surpassed Hungary in GDP per capita and that it will also surpass Poland

The dismissed prime minister Florin Cîțu posted a message on his Facebook account, claiming that Romania would have surpassed Hungary, for the first time, in terms of the Gross Domestic Percentage per capita. Moreover, Cîțu insists with the “good news” that Romania will surpass Poland as well, invoking World Bank forecasts.

“For the first time, Romania has surpassed Hungary in GDP per capita. The good news is that it will overtake Poland, as the World Bank announces. Of course, for that we have to maintain the current rhythm “, wrote Cîțu.

He added that “it is a signal that the measures taken were the right ones, even in times of health crisis.”

“We have the best economic recovery in Europe, and that means we are on the right track. It is important not to take steps backwards! ”, Added Cîțu.
