Citroen has today released the first images of the ë-CX3 Aircross – a compact crossover that will hit the market this autumn.
A price of less than 20,000 euros is recommended for the most affordable version if you settle for a limited range and a simple equipment level. That should mean under NOK 250,000, and in that price range there isn’t much to choose from today.
The ones I can think of quickly are the Leaf, which is priced from NOK 223,000, the MG4 from NOK 253,000 and the cheapest Mazda MX-30 being sold at NOK 219,900. That makes it the cheapest electric car in Norway at the time of writing.
A number of car manufacturers have expressed goals to present compact electric cars for €20,000, but it may be that Citroën will be the first in this market when they launch ë-CX3 Aircross as autumn
The compact SUV with a length of 439 cm can be big enough for many, especially if it is to be used by single people or as a second car.
Despite its compact dimensions, Citroen promises good interior space and easy entry and exit thanks to the long wheelbase and high seating position.
The importer promises more information before the summer and expects the first cars to arrive in Norway in the autumn.
