Citroën C3 officially launched in Indonesia. Pricing for the Citroën C3 starts at IDR 225 million. This car is a challenger to Toyota Raize and Daihatsu Rocky in the compact SUV segment. What are the advantages offered by Citroën C3?
The New Citroën C3 marks the beginning of a new chapter for Citroën. This model embodies the spirit of the Citroën brand designed to meet the needs of Asian consumers. The new C3 is the first model in Citroën’s “C-Cubed” program launched in 2019. The three Cs of the program reflect Citroën’s position: Cool, Comfort and Clever which refer in particular to the model’s unique design, experience Citroën and the product concept prepared according to the needs and tastes of the local market.
Citroën defines the C3 as a sedan with distinctive comfort and an SUV feel. The design of Citroën C3 emphasizes practicality, comfort and connectivity, all integrated into a single vehicle.
The new Citroën C3 was developed for young people and offers four comfort themes:
1. Live elevated with an attractive SUV-style design and a high seat that can be adjusted for the driver.
2. Happy space with ride comforts like a flying carpet, interior air conditioning for tropical climates with a spacious cabin.
3. Infotainment with excellent features offering a 10-inch touch screen and Mirror Screen function compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity.
4. Custom comfort with 4 available body colors and 2 two-tone colors for a total of 6 different color combination options.
The New Citroën C3 mounts a 1,198 cc engine, which can deliver a maximum power of 81 HP and a maximum torque of 115 Nm. Mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the New Citroën C3 would be able to achieve fuel consumption of 19.8 km/litre.
Compared to the price of Raize, the price of the New Citroën C3 is cheaper. Pricing for the Raize, for both the 1.2-litre and 1.0-litre turbocharged types, costs IDR 232.4 million to IDR 305.1 million for the tallest variant.
But compared to Rocky, the New Citroën C3 is more expensive. The price of Rocky, both 1.2-litre and 1.0-litre turbocharged types ranges from IDR 207 million to IDR 262 million for the most expensive variant.
