My Ami Buggy was originally introduced by Citroën as a relatively crazy concept of a small truck with elements of an expedition offroad, which could be considered a certain recession. However, the prototype aroused responses and the French carmaker therefore decided to produce a serial model in a limited edition of 50 pieces.

The production version of My Ami Buggy isn’t understandably as wild as the concept, but it still offers a lot of unconventional views. The body of the small electric car is made of plastic and is painted in khaki. In the exterior, Citroën also chose a metal decor and fourteen-inch wheels with gold paint. Off-road style is complemented by plastic-coated fenders, side sills and frames around the headlights and taillights.

The limited edition will be presented with a UV-resistant fabric roof, which can be completely removed and which will fit behind the seats when rolled up. The interior combines ordinary decor with yellow stitching and other yellow accessories. Each car will receive its own serial number with the label and the words “My Ami Buggy Ultra Limited Edition”.

The car will go on sale on June 21 in France, with the first cars reaching customers around August 8. Citroën did not disclose prices or mention whether customers will be able to buy the car outside of France.

It only remains to mention that under the hood of a small ATV will be a standard electric motor with a 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, which provides 8 horsepower and a range of 70 kilometers.
