Citizens of the United States and Denmark spoke in favor of direct military support for Ukraine – poll

At the same time, 35% of US citizens are ready to support American troops to defend Ukraine against 28%. Both Republicans (43% vs. 28%) and Democrats (39% vs. 25%) support participation in hostilities in the event of a war in Eastern Europe.

While the British public was divided on this score: 30% – “for” and 32% – “against”.

Other Europeans tend to think that their military should not help defend Ukraine. Most opposed to this are the French (36% vs. 26%), Italians (40% vs. 21%) and Germans (52% versus 23%).

The survey included 1,695 British, 1,206 French, 2,065 Germans, 1,025 Danes, 1,006 Swedes, 1,053 Spaniards, 1,015 Italians and 1,000 Americans.
