The passengers spent a few minutes in weightlessness and then the capsule with parachutes successfully landed in the desert about 11 minutes after takeoff.
The crew included Egyptian engineer Sara Sabria and Portuguese businessman Mario Ferreira, both of whom were the first people from their countries to be in space.

A spokeswoman for Blue Origin confirmed that all six crew members were paying passengers. Sabria’s place was sponsored by the non-profit organization Space for Humanity.
Blue Origin has not disclosed its ticket prices.
Previous flights have included celebrities who have flown for free, including Star Trek actor William Shatner.
