Bad Homburg (hw). The city informs all property owners that they will receive a credit for waste disposal fees with the current property tax notice. The credit applies to the period from August 2023 to January 2024 inclusive.

The background to this credit is a retroactive change to the waste fee regulations that the city council passed on November 23, 2023. Due to operational restrictions, the depot was not able to offer a full service for both residual waste and organic waste disposal during the period mentioned. Instead, the partial service was carried out, in which citizens had to independently place the waste containers on the curb for collection.

The difference between the fees for the full service and the reduced costs for the partial service will now be automatically credited to the existing property tax notice. The complete waste fee regulations can be found online at www.bad-homburg.de/de/stadt/rathaus/stadtrecht can be found under “Waste Fee Regulations”.

If you have any questions about property tax notices, citizens can send an email to[at]Bad Homburg[dot]de and if you have any questions about waste disposal or changing waste containers, send an email to betriebshof[at]Bad Homburg[dot]the turn.
