Manchester City lost in the last two fights with Liverpool. Citizens shouldn’t be soft when they meet the Reds this weekend.
City are again in a positive trend this season after being in second place in the Premier League standings with 23 points, one point behind Arsenal at the top of the Premier League standings. They scored 33 goals and only conceded nine.
Erling Haaland is why City can be as aggressive as they are now. The Norwegian striker has scored 20 goals so far and became City’s capital during a visit to Anfield on Sunday (10/16/2022) WIB night.

City are clearly more favorites considering Liverpool’s performances have declined this season. They collapsed to 10th in the standings with 10 points and only won twice.
The star players did not appear as usual, making it easier for City to win. City, however, should remember that in the last two matches they have always lost.
The first was in the FA Cup semi-finals last season, when they fell with a score of 2-3, followed by the Community Shield with a score of 1-3 last August. Performances like this make Pep Guardiola worry as a coach.
He also warned that Haaland et al. he is no longer weak and must appear in his best performance to beat Liverpool.
“Maybe we have been too soft in the last two fights,” he said Pep Guardiola from ESPN.
“You have to be able to win duels. When they put pressure on you, you have to push back, you have to push back. The FA Cup semi-final is tight, after all in the Champions League and we weren’t ready for the Community Shield.”
“I’m really in better shape, you can’t be bad against a team like this.”
