Citizens’ money is a recurring topic of conflict in Germany. Recipients also have to contend with problems on the RTL2 show “Hartz and warmly”.
Rostock – Die RTL2 program “Hartz and warmly” accompanies social welfare recipients in their everyday lives. Even the young ones Parents Jasmin and Maik are among them Citizen’s money-Recipients – they have in Season 10 Episode 9 due to her son Lennox problems with the youth welfare office.
“Hartz and cordial” protagonists in stress: Jasmin and Lennox should go to the home
The couple from Rostock lives with their offspring in a small apartment. As has now become known, however, this is set to change in the near future. After months of no space available, Jasmin and her son Lennox will soon have to move into a mother-child home. The youth welfare office had already decided this some time ago. The opinion was expressed there that the young parents could not cope with raising their son.

“We called the mother and child home afterwards. It was confirmed to us that there will be a space available on April 1, 2025 and they want to renovate it. “I should be able to move in there in mid-April or early May,” Jasmin announced in a new episode. When the episode aired, Jasmin was heavily pregnant; she and her son Lennox were supposed to receive additional care after the birth of their new child. It happened shortly after Lennox was born constant concern for the infant.
The citizen’s benefit recipient did not agree with the location of the mother-child home
However, the couple did not agree to going to the mother-child home. “Unfortunately, since this was decided by a judge, we had no other choice,” said Jasmin, dismayed. “I just don’t know what to expect. A lot has already been discussed and we already had an appointment.” The young mother had at least wanted a facility in Rostock where her sister and her daughter were already there.
Husband Maik doesn’t want to move into the facility, even though Jasmin is supposed to go to the mother-child home between six months and two years. “It depends on how things go and how satisfied the office is,” says Jasmin. First she was supposed to go to a home outside of Rostock. “I made sure that she didn’t go there,” says husband Maik. “I clarified with the lawyer that she stays in Rostock.” In a next episode it was announced that Jasmin was her unborn child Kind lost five weeks before the planned birth.
