Ahmad Yani International Airport confirmed that the plane had an emergency landing Citilink QG 483 from Banjarmasin at Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang. The flight from Banjarmasin to Cengkareng carried a total of 146 passengers.
“The flight from Banjarmasin to Jakarta (Citilink QG 483 BDJ-CGK) with 146 people on board, actually landed in Semarang,” said Stakeholder Relations Manager Ahmad Yani International Airport, Heri Trisno Wibowo as quoted from secondsCentral JavaSunday (15/5/2022).
Heri said the emergency landing went safely. The airport, who was aware of the emergency landing, immediately alerted officers on the ground.
“After receiving information, all of our officers are on standby until the plane lands safely,” he continued.
He explained that after landing, the passengers were then directed to the terminal waiting room for further handling. He said the landing did not interfere with the flight schedules of other airlines.
“If operations are still running smoothly as usual,” he continued.
