Citilink Opens Voice of Flight QG 483 Emergency Landing in Semarang

Party Citilink explained about the emergency landing of Citilink flight QG 483, the Banjarmasin-Jakarta route. It was said that there was a technical problem so the pilot decided to make an emergency landing in Semarang.

“Flight QG 483 on the Banjarmasin-Jakarta route on May 15, 2022, which previously took off at 12:10 local time, was diverted (divert) to Semarang due to technical reasons,” said VP Corporate Secretary & CSR of PT Citilink Indonesia, Diah Suryani Indriastuti, in a statement, Sunday. (15/5/2022).

“The pilot decided to take action according to the procedure by landing the plane normally at the nearest airport, namely Ahmad Yani Airport, Semarang at 12:36 local time for reasons of flight safety and security,” he said.

Citilink immediately followed up on these findings. The plane was immediately inspected.

“Citilink took anticipatory steps by conducting further checks on the aircraft and immediately replacing the aircraft with other aircraft according to applicable procedures,” he said.

Passengers who boarded the QG 483 flight had returned to Jakarta this afternoon. Previously, they had been compensated for the emergency landing and schedule delays.

“Passengers on the flight have now departed back to Jakarta with a replacement plane at 17:45 local time and have landed in Jakarta (CGK) safely at 18:58 local time,” he said.

“Citilink has carried out delay management procedures by providing compensation to passengers in the form of vouchers and serve on ground in accordance with applicable regulations. Citilink officers have also provided explanations to passengers on the flight and passengers can receive the explanations given properly,” he said.

Citilink apologizes for the incident. He made sure that the safety of passengers was the main thing.

“We, Citilink Management, apologize profusely for the inconvenience. “Citilink always prioritizes aspects of flight safety and security, therefore we always try to anticipate things that could potentially interfere with flight safety and security,” he said.
