Cities: Skylines II Offers Five Times the Space of Real Countries

That’s bigger than some real countries.

Article: Ben Lyons – Gamereactor.cnNo doubt there are plenty of people struggling with space in Cities: Skylines’ current project. The game’s map is built on 5×5 tiles, with a total area of about 33.18 square kilometers, which isn’t a particularly large amount of space for an actual city. Developer Colossal Order hopes to address and correct this in the upcoming release of Cities: Skylines II. As noted in the latest video, the developer notes that it changes the way tiles work in the game. Each tile is now about a third the size of the tiles in the original game, but you can now buy about 441 tiles, which means you’ll have about 159 square kilometers to play with, roughly the size of the Cities : Five times the space available in Skylines. For anyone wondering, there are five countries in the world smaller than this (Vatican City, Monaco, Nauru, Tuvalu, and San Marino). Check out the latest developer video below to learn more about how these tiles work. Source: Gamereactor.cn
