Citadele plans to complete the acquisition of UniCredit Leasing in the Baltics by the end of the year

As a result of the transaction, Citadele will significantly increase its leasing market share in the Baltics, informs Kristīne Mennika, a representative of JSC Citadele banka.

Until the end of this year, SIA “UniCredit Leasing” and SIA “Citadeles līzings un faktorings” will continue to operate as independent companies and provide their financial services.

The agreements concluded with SIA “UniCredit Leasing” and all other existing obligations will remain in force in accordance with their current terms, confirms Mennika.

“We have been actively working for almost a year to obtain all the necessary permits from the supervisory authorities in the Baltics. This is one of the largest transactions in the Baltics, as a result of which we will expand the opportunities of SIA UniCredit Leasing, Citadeles and Citadeles līzings un faktorings customers, “comments Johan Akerblom, head of Citadele.
