The Montérégie-Ouest Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) confirmed on December 31 the addition of one more day per week for the Mercier winter clinic. As of January 2 and every Wednesday and Thursday in January and February, the Mercier winter clinic located at 464 boulevard Saint-Jean-Baptiste, office 101 will offer additional hours from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm -you, dial 450-699-0539.
Remember that the winter clinics were created to relieve the emergency and to accommodate you in case of minor problems during the runny nose season. During this holiday season and for the 2020 flow, if you have flu symptoms (dry cough, sore throat, fever and runny nose), emergency should not be the first option. Among the preferred options, there are:
- Contact the Info-Santé Line 8-1-1 to chat with a nurse;
- Consult your family doctor or a doctor in a GMF (www.sante.gouv.qc.ca/repertoire-ressources/) Or in a GMF-Réseau in the region (Vaudreuil-Dorion, des Trois-Lacs or Le Trait d´Union);
- Consult your pharmacist.
- Make an appointment at a winter clinic.
