On its social networks, the Montpellier club published a parody video where French MMA fighter Ciryl Gane signs for the MHSC, all filmed by central defender Mamadou Sakho.
It is a small humorous sequence which we did not expect which was published, Tuesday, on the official Twitter account of Montpellier. The Hérault club shared a parody press conference with UFC fighter Ciryl Gane as a guest star, interviewed by Mamadou Sakho in the role of the journalist.
Gane and Sakho in full delirium at the training center
While at the MHSC, the MMA champion lent himself to the delirium orchestrated by the former central defender of PSG and Liverpool. As “Bon Gamin” settles in the press room, he begins a monologue on his signing in Montpellier, explaining that he had “a few discussions with the coach” and was attracted “by this new challenge” (pronounced “-angel” ). As Gane begins to laugh, it’s the turn of the French international (29 caps) to take over by questioning him… about himself. “What do you think of your new recruit Mamadou Sakho?”
Whoever wants his revenge against Francis Ngannou then improvises a response by putting himself this time in the shoes of Olivier Dall’Oglio, all with the accent. The sequence, already cult, ends with a laugh between the two men.
Longtime friends, Sakho took the opportunity to show the Hérault club facilities to the UFC fighter. The latter even took the opportunity to show his ball-to-foot technique with some juggling, before leaving with his number three flocked jersey. If the time is not yet for the retraining for Ciryl Gane, the fact remains that this short video will have had the merit of making people smile on the Web.
