Circus performer injured after crash during performance in Haarlem

A police spokesman said several 911 services had been called for the circus at Mayor Reinalda Park. After the man received medical attention, police and firefighters escorted the spectators to a safe place.

Several people are reporting on social media that one of the acts, which in the show is called Wheel of Death, did just fine. The deed of December 28 can be seen in the images below.

Later in the evening, Christmas Circus Haarlem posted a statement on Facebook. In it they write that the circus artist is conscious and is being examined. They also apologize to the people who witnessed the incident.
