The interruption of the service, which initially affected the route between Plaza de España and Aviación Española, is due to an electrical incident that affects the catenary. “These breakdowns are more complex to repair, because being aerial it is necessary to use machines to rise,” the spokeswoman details.
Technicians from the Madrid underground company are working to repair the fault, although the work is more complex because it involves work on the outside line. The estimated solution time was more than one hour and already exceeds by more than half an hour. As a result of the service cut-off, there are delays in other sections of the L10 (Hospital Infanta Sofía-Puerta del Sur).
