For her part, Dr. Sherine Zaki, Head of the Food Safety Committee at the Veterinary Medical Association, commented on the incident in local statements, saying, “It has been warned more than once about the damages of meat factories. Such as: “luncheon, sausage, hot dog, and pastrami,” emphasizing: “The substances added in meat factories destroy health.”
Zaki stressed that he prefers not to use meat factories inside homes only once a week and that they are reputable products, noting that the luncheon product that contains rat droppings was not a reputable product at all, since several months ago, poultry feathers were found in a luncheon product of unknown origin. With leftover bones, everything we can imagine is found inside the notorious “luncheon cones”, and is put in the cooking ovens to come out like this.
Zaki added that the picture shown of the luncheon product that contains rat waste could not have been cooked, and this suggests that this factory puts “luncheon cones” in open places that are not suitable for human consumption, so the mice eat them and they appeared to us in the form shown in the picture.
Zaki indicated that there are many questions about that image, and this type of luncheon must be analyzed, and a sudden campaign must be launched against the factory of this product and the quantities inside it must be analyzed, and citizens must stay away from meat factories in any way, and stay away from the different types notorious.
