Circulating leaked specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, use Snapdragon 875

Starting in 2020, Samsung changed the naming scheme for their flagship HP series, starting with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. Seeing this naming, the next flagship series will likely be called the Samsung Galaxy S21.

Ahead of its release in February, a number of component certification documents for the Samsung S21 are starting to circulate. This leak shows a small part of the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S21.

Quoted from Gizmochina, Samsung S21 has passed the 3C certification process in China. This device is registered with the model number SM-G9910 and will include a 25W charger in the sales package.

The 3C certification shows that the applicant is Samsung (China) Investment, while the manufacturer is Samsung Electronics. This alleged Samsung S21 device has been manufactured at the Samsung Electronics Vietnam production plant THAI NGUYEN.

The specifications for the Samsung S21 that are also starting to be revealed include the use of a 4,000 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 875 chipset. With this, the Samsung S21 will be the first device with this chipset to pass certification.

Until now, what has been circulating is the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra variant as the highest variant. It is also mentioned that this variant will use the Samsung HM2 108MP main camera, as one of the 5 existing cameras.

The Samsung S21 camera will reportedly be able to record video at 1080p quality at 240fps, 4K at 120fps, and 8K at 30fps. While the screen is capable of displaying 1440p quality with a refresh rate of 120Hz or 144Hz.

The Samsung S21 Ultra variant will also have a larger battery, which is 5,000 mAh, complete with 65W fast charging support, which is the latest technology from Samsung.
