Dacian Cioloș accuses PNL of paying from public money in recent days an online advertising campaign directed against former ministers Ioana Mihăilă and Vlad Voiculescu.
“I cost the PNL a lot of money. After producing false flyers and distributing them across the country in the election campaign, they have now paid for an entire online campaign trying to blame the pandemic on Ioana Mihaila and Vlad Voiculescu. It is simply incomprehensible what this party really wants, which, on the one hand, sends us messages of reconciliation, while in public it continues with misinformation of the lowest kind “, Cioloș wrote on Facebook.
He claims that this campaign is paid for with public money, given that parliamentary parties are financed with money from the state budget, and describes it as a “poisoned campaign”: “I understood to a certain extent the frustration of Florin Cîțu for his personal situation , but for us that means nothing. One’s political career is strictly a personal matter and it is inconceivable for a party or a country to sacrifice itself for one person, no matter who it is. From his dismissal until recently, I simply did therapy with a man who cannot detach himself from power. And I’m not the only one. But to contradict yourself from one day to the next and to end up poisoned campaigns with public money against those with whom you say you would like to work no longer makes sense. I don’t even comment on the moral side anymore “.
Cioloș also said that “we are always willing to have a dialogue with PNL, but if someone imagines that we will sit at the table with Florin Cîțu while he is making false campaigns online or because he repeats endlessly to go to PSD and AUR either he does not know what he is talking about, or he has come to believe his own lies. It is a shame that the point has been reached and, although we hope that balanced people will stop this kind of behavior, I cannot help but be left with a bitter taste following these degradations of public expression ”.
