The association of voluntary blood donors of Cintegabelle held its general assembly on January 19, at the Salle Coluche. The association is doing well, as evidenced by the positive 2022 financial results, the number of donors still on the rise and the reception of several new volunteers.
Reflecting this dynamism: the renewal of the office, reinforced by the arrival of a young Cintegabelloise, Ophélie Freyche, as secretary. President Marie-Claire Daguerre warmly thanked all the people who showed up, with or without an appointment, to donate their blood during each collection: “Thank you for this generous, painless, fast, secure, free but so essential.”
The general meeting ended with a glass of friendship around a galette des rois, with the presence of Christian Huertas and Nadège Juglair, from the Departmental Union of Blood Donation. There are many projects for the coming year and the first appointment to note is the next blood drive, Friday March 17 from 2 to 7 pm in the village hall; where for each donation a gourmet snack will be offered by the friendly team of volunteers.
