As informed by Riga International Short Film Festival 2ANNAS, from 18 to 20 September The cinema community “Cinevilla” will host the cinema community or cinema creativity marathon “Tukums 48h cinema community in Cinevilla”, where 10 teams will create their own short film in 48 hours. On Sunday, September 20, a jury of professionals – Riga International Short Film Festival 2ANNAS program director and artist Laima Graždanoviča, artist and set designer Katrīna Neiburga, film director Juris Poškus, screenwriter Lote Eglīte, as well as producer and director Andrejs Ēķis will receive Tukums County Council main prize – 1000 euros (before taxes). The technology and entertainment company Tet will donate 500 euros to the main prize winners and the winning short film will be shown on Latvia’s largest entertainment platform Shortcut. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 20, at 17.00 in the yard of TUKKU MAGI at 26 Pasta Street, where the best short films made in Tukums region during 48 hours will be shown and where viewers will be able to vote for their sympathy award. The team – the winner of the Audience Award – will have the opportunity to implement a cinema idea in the Cinevilla Cinema City.
