Cinere-Serpong and Cengkareng-Kunciran toll roads are ready to function when Nataru

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Part of the road Cinere-Serpong toll road and Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran toll road ready to operate functionally ahead of the 2020 Christmas Holidays and New Year 2021 (Nataru).

These two toll roads are part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) II toll road network and are managed by the subsidiaries of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, namely PT Cinere Serpong Jaya (CSJ) and PT Jasamarga Kunciran Cengkareng (JKC).

President Director of PT CSJ Ayu Widya Kiswari explained that the progress of land acquisition for the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road as a whole until Tuesday (10/13/2020) had reached 96 percent, while the construction was 87.31 percent.

The Serpong-Cinere Toll Road is designed to be 10.14 kilometers long. This toll road consists of two sections, namely Section 1 Serpong-Pamulang (6.59 kilometers) and Section 2 Pamulang-Cinere (3.55 kilometers).

“We are targeting Section 1 Serpong-Pamulang to operate functionally in December 2020. For Section 2 Pamulang-Cinere, the target is functional in January 2021, provided that all priority land areas can be maximized to be free,” said Ayu in a written statement, Friday (16/10) 2020).

The Serpong-Cinere Toll Road will cross the Serpong (Jombang), Serua, Ciputat, Pamulang and Pondok Cabe / Cinere areas.

Meanwhile, for the development of the Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran Toll Road, it has reached 90 percent for land acquisition and construction.

Shown in the picture of Intersection of Objects.-PT JKC President Director Agung Widodo said that part of the toll roads could be passed functionally during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

“Until now, overall land acquisition for the Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran Toll Road has reached 92 percent, while the construction has reached around 91 percent,” added Agung.

He hopes that the remaining land acquisition and construction construction, which is less than 10 percent, can be completed by the end of this year.

The Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran Toll Road stretches 14.19 kilometers which is divided into four sections, namely Section 1 of the Kunciran-Underpass Tirtayasa (2.04 kilometers), and Section 2 of the Tirtayasa-Underpass Benteng Betawi (3.52 kilometers).

Then Section 3 of the Benteng Betawi Underpass-Husein Sastranegara Underpass (6.57 kilometers), and Section 4 of the Husein Sastranegara-Simpang Susun Benda Underpass (2.06 kilometers).

When fully operational, the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road and Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran Toll Road will be connected to the Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road managed by PT Marga Trans Nusantara (MTN).

These three toll roads can be an alternative for road users heading towards Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Pondok Aren-Serpong, and Banten / Merak Port.
