Head of the BPJT Toll Road Service Information Systems Division of the PUPR Ministry, Ali Rachmadi Nasution, said that this tariff adjustment was in accordance with PUPR Ministerial Decree No. 1916/KPTS/M/2023 concerning Determination of Motor Vehicle Type Classes, Toll Tariff Amounts, and Toll Collection Systems on the Cinere – Jagorawi Toll Road (Cimanggis – Cinere Interchange) on December 18 2023. Part of the Cijago Toll Road itself was just inaugurated by Jokowi on Monday (8/1). Previously, Jokowi inaugurated 3 toll sections in 2 sections that are included in the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) 2 network.

The toll road in question is section 2 of the Serpong-Cinere section, and sections 2 and 3 of the Cinere-Jagorawi section. These three toll road sections connect Pamulang to Bogor Raya for 14 kilometers (km).

Jokowi hopes that this toll road will give people many choices or alternatives for mobility in areas around Jakarta. For example, to Cibubur, Tangerang, Bogor, or to Soekarno-Hatta Airport. With this toll road, Jokowi emphasized that traffic jams in Jakarta will be reduced because people don’t have to drive to the city center first.

“Because this is an inner ring road, there is also an outer ring at JORR 1, JORR 2. So there are no traffic jams in Jakarta, because you don’t have to pass through the city of Jakarta,” explained Jokowi at the Main Limo Toll Gate, Depok, West Java. , Monday (8/1).
