Cinema, singing and dancing on the Rosita Ávila Town Theater billboard, from August 1 to 4

The Municipal Theater updates its scoreboard.

August begins and Rosita Avila Municipal Theater located at Las Piedras 1550 updating its register. In the room Las Piedras 1550, there are films from Gerardo Vallejo Tucumán Latin American Film Festival; A folk duo will perform and the show will mix choral singing and ballroom dancing.

Programming details are as follows:

Thursday 1st

8pm – Opening of the Gerardo Vallejo 2024 Tucumán Latin American Film Festival, organized by the Tucumán Cultural Group. “Mavita full of grace” will be shown, the first film directed by the actress Candela Vetrano, who will be present at the opening of the Festival. The documentary explores the life of Candela’s grandmother, who has gone through years of pain and loss. Free entry.

Friday 2

At 9 p.m., the folkloric duo of singers and songwriters “Pedro y Pedro” will present the show “Zambas, Chacareras y algo más.” The group consists of Pedro Eusebio y Pedro Matias, in guitars and vocals. They will participate as guests Yucca CordobaThe Mayhas and Carolina Sisali. General Admission: $7,000 Advance: $6,000 and two for $10,000. Saturday 3

At 9pm, the show Choirs will be presented, produced by the Foundation for the Development of the Performing Arts (Fundae). A show choir is a group of people who combine choral singing and dancing. The repertoire alternates between pop comedy, rock and music, with 20 artists on stage, who will tour the most famous songs of Lali, Miranda, ABBA, Ricky Martin, Cae, the among others. The choir director is in charge Colonel Celeste and the choreographic direction Baby LeMau. General Admission: $7,000 Promotion: two for $10,000. Sunday 4

At 6 pm, the film “Alemania” will be shown within the framework of the Latin American Festival Tucumán Cine Gerardo Vallejo 2024. The film is part of the Argentine Competition. The film is directed by María Zanetti and stars Maite Aguilar and Miranda de la Serna. Summary: Lola, a 16-year-old teenager, is taking the classes she took, when an opportunity arises to study for a semester in Germany. She wants to travel, but her family, preoccupied with her older sister’s mental disorder, does not want her to make the trip. General admission: $1500.

At 8 pm, you can see the film “Pies en la Arena”, within the framework of the Gerardo Vallejo Latin American Film Festival 2024 Tucumán. Synopsis: Toña is a Dominican woman who fled her country and an abusive relationship. She arrives in Puerto Rico without registration to build a new life. Gregorio is a Cuban doctor based in Puerto Rico. An accident causes a relationship that both depend on to get ahead. General admission: $1500.

The City Theater box office will be open from this Wednesday, August 31 to Friday, August 2, from 8:30 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm; and Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4, from 5 to 9 p.m.
