Jakarta –
PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk, a cinema management company CGVrecorded a loss in its financial performance in the first quarter of 2023. The issuer with the ticker code BLTZ suffered a loss of IDR 20.6 billion during the first quarter of 2023.
This is known from the Consolidated Financial Report for the First Quarter, seen from the Indonesia Stock Exchange’s Information Disclosure, Sunday (7/5/2023). Despite the loss, the amount decreased from the same period last year.
The decline in losses also looks quite rapid, up to more than 50%. From the initial loss of Rp 50.5 billion last year, it has become Rp 20.6 billion this year.
The reduced losses were driven by the increase in revenue earned by the cinema management. It was recorded that until March 2023, BLTZ’s revenue had risen to IDR 205.8 billion, a rapid increase from the same period in the previous year which only reached IDR 133.8 billion.
However, until the end of March 2023, BLTZ’s assets experienced a slight decrease compared to the end of 2022. From the beginning of Rp. 2.2 trillion, now it is only Rp. 2.1 trillion. Meanwhile, the company’s liabilities were recorded at IDR 1.74 trillion and equity at IDR 452.2 billion.
