On February 25 will be the debut of the film “A un paso de mí”, starring Johanna Solano, model and athlete.
This is your first movie. Do you have plans to pursue acting?
The truth is that I had not thought about that, I love acting, it is one of the facets that people did not know about me but it has always existed.
I did not make the film thinking of dedicating myself to this fully, but if projects with meaning come, I could consider it.
The cinema has me in love.

After the premiere in Costa Rica, what’s next for the film?
We are waiting, waiting for the premiere and the reaction of the people, to see what doors open.
The illusion of any director is that his work reaches beyond the borders, the film “An essential gift” that is part of the Jose Mario Salas portfolio, can already be seen on international platforms, it is quite possible that it will happen with this one as well.
What is the story about?
It tells the story of a journalist who in one of her stages of greatest professional achievement suffers a love disenchantment that destabilizes her emotionally, which prompts her to undertake a trip to Costa Rica that will teach her to find herself.
What prompted you to participate in the project?
The story called me, because a large percentage of the population is going to identify with it.
The protagonist goes through situations that are not alien to many people, at a work, personal and loving level, they are not far from reality, many people have lived them or will live them and they always leave a lesson.

Had you worked in acting?
I had had some interventions in “sketches” and in theater, especially, since I am a graduate of Castella.
How did you prepare for the role?
I asked for advice and had several rehearsals to be able to convey what the director wanted, I always felt very comfortable.
