Cinema Culinary served “Every Tuesday” in the Old Metalworking Shop of EVO

On Friday, October 11, 2024, Kino Kulinarisch will be showing a film in the Alte Schlosserei of the EVO that is made for the finely curated series of events: Because “Immer wieder Dienstag” is not only a sensual pleasure because of the perfectly staged delicacies, but also a light-hearted social satire that combines cinema, culinary arts and, of course, love in the most excellent way.

It was supposed to be a great party for their 40th wedding anniversary – but during the celebration, Karin discovers that her husband Sten is cheating on her. Devastated, she accidentally meets her former classmate Monika. After an exhilarating evening together, they decide to attend a cooking class with top chef Henrik together with Karin’s friend Pia. Henrik is initially brusque and dismissive, but Karin’s active nature and her cooking skills fascinate him. A romance begins to develop. At the same time, Karin and her two friends come up with a plan to start a catering service. At her daughter’s big birthday party, at which Henrik also turns up, there is a scandal – and Karin realizes that it is now up to her to make a decision.

For this delicious and turbulent Swedish cooking course, the organizers serve fried salmon with lemon-dill velouté, mashed potatoes and wild herbs, just like in the film. The vegetarian version comes in the form of a delicious vegetable beet tower. For dessert, this time the menu includes a surprise dream of salted caramel.

Admission, food and drinks are available from 6:30 p.m., the film starts at 8 p.m. Admission costs 11.90 euros including advance booking fees, champagne reception and amuse-gueule. The main courses cost 16.50 euros each on site, dessert 5 euros. Tickets are available at www.kinokulinarisch.de (Opens in a new tab) available.
