In 1609, six women in the Basque Country were arrested by the Inquisition, accused of witchcraft. As the interrogation progresses, the film by director Pablo Agüero, awarded at the Goya 2021, does not advocate for the innocence of women and shows them rebelling against their status as victims, celebrating their cunning and vitality.
