Next Friday “Summer ’94” will be premiered in the Anklamer cinema. The film is not only set in the region, the actors and film team are also at home in and around Anklam.

The latest film by the Anklam filmmakers around cinema boss Matthias Karstädt is about three boys who just want to build a tree house in the forest during their holidays. But then they discover a mysterious building and the harmless fun takes a dramatic turn.
The film “Summer ’94” was made in the region last summer. The film was shot in Altwigshagen, Ducherow, Görke, Neetzow, Bugewitz and in Stolpe an der Peene. Next Friday, August 5th, the big premiere will be celebrated in the Anklam cinema and the film will be shown in full for the first time.

Watch the making-of with the main actors
There will also be a “making of” in which the three main actors Leopold Sewerin, Jasper Jeske and Jonas Quanter give short interviews and report on the shooting and their experiences as actors. Of course, the three also want to celebrate the premiere.

The entire film team will also be there on this special evening, announces Matthias Karstädt, who also founded the production company “High 5 Pictures” in connection with the making of the film.
Advance ticket sales for the premiere evening have already begun. Tickets are available at the cinema center in Anklam. It’s supposed to start at 6 p.m.
