  • Double feature of films on Sunday: “Spiderman: A New Universe” and “Rescue Distance”.

The work is an exercise in collective memory that brings together some of the experiences of those who lived through the 2001 crisis in their childhood or youth. It also deals with friendship and the neighborhood as a space of support, the consequences of unemployment and the affections that emigrate in search of new horizons.

Sofía Grimaux acts, who is also in charge of the dramaturgy. Mateo Bruno is the visual artist on stage and is responsible for the sound design. The rest of the team is made up of Bruno Genorazzo in set design; lighting, Javier Guevar; and training and spatial composition, Malena Carnero. The staging is by: Minimum Distances

On Sunday, the invitation begins at 5:00 p.m. as part of the “Piojites al Poder” cycle. You can enjoy a great computer-animated superhero film from 2018, “Spider-Man. A New Universe,” directed by Bob Persichetti and Peter Ramsey.

The film is an adaptation of the Spider-Verse comic book line and follows Miles Morales, a young boy who becomes the new Spider-Man and teams up with other Spider-People from various parallel universes to save his universe from Kingpin.

A film that won the Oscar Award for Best Animated Film.

On the other hand, from 7:00 p.m., it will be the turn of the thriller “Distancia de rescate” starring the Argentine actress Dolores Fonzi and directed by the Peruvian Claudia Llosa.

The film is based on a novel by the Argentine author Samanta Schweblin, who also wrote the script for the film.

The film shows us that a mother’s love has no barriers and leaves us with various symbolisms to analyze. It was the most watched Argentine film in the United States.
