Cindy Crawford recalled her visit to Kensington Palace in London after seeing her photo in one of the episodes of the latest season of the TV series “The Crown”.
In one of the episodes of the sixth season of the popular series, Prince Philip (actor Jonathan Pryce) surprises his grandson Prince William (Ed McVeigh) with an unexpected visit to his dormitory at Eton College. The creators of the “Netflix” series imagined that the new prince’s room could be decorated with photos of supermodels popular at the time. In the episode, Prince William enters the room and sees his grandfather looking at the photos of beautiful women pinned to the wall.

Crawford added: “We finally got in touch and she asked if I could come over for tea next time I was in London. I think Prince William was just starting to follow the models and she thought it would be a nice surprise for him and Prince Harry.”
The model said that she was “nervous” because she “didn’t know what to wear”. But she recalled that once Princess Diana walked into the room and they started chatting, “it was like talking to a friend.” Cindy praised the princess, saying: “She was brilliant and showed us all what a modern day princess should be.”
