(Cincinnati) Three Canadians will be in action at the Western & Southern Open, Cincinnati’s Masters 1000 Series tournament, on Tuesday.

Sixth seed, Ontarian Denis Shapovalov will enter the tournament. After receiving a pass in the first round, the native of Israel, 10e in the world, will face the French Benoît Paire in the early evening.
Quebecer Félix Auger-Aliassime, who crossed the first round in singles on Monday, will kick off his doubles tournament with New Zealander Marcus Daniell. The pair will face Americans Steve Johnson and Austin Krajicek in Game 3 of the day on Court 8.
Finally, the Ottavian Gabriela Dabrowski and the Brazilian Luisa Stefani, who won the National Bank Open last weekend, will face the Kazakhes Anna Danilina and Yaroslava Shvedova at the start of the day on court no 11. Dabrowski and Stefani are ranked sixth in the women’s doubles.
Seventh-ranked Ontarian Bianca Andreescu will kick off her tournament on Wednesday. Holder of a pass in the first round, Andreescu will face the Czech Karolina Muchova or the Briton Johanna Konta. The two women will launch Tuesday’s activities on court no.4 starting at 11 a.m.
