Burrow led the Bengals into the end zone before he half-time break and the Cincy defense took control for the rest of the game, holding Mahomes and KC to just three second half points.

A field goal pulled the Bengals with in eight points, and Burrow found Ja’maar Chase on a short TD completion to end the third quarter. A successful two point conversion catch by Trent Taylor ted the game up setting up what would be a heart pounding final quarter.

An Evan McPherson 52 yard field goal put the Bengals on top for the first time, but the Bengals defense would have to get one last hold as the Chiefs drove inside the 5 yard line with under a minute left in the fourth quarter, but ended up settling for a field goal to send the game into overtime.
