“Siela Norma” is defined by the CEC (What a surprise!) for the public procurement contractor for the machine vote for the June 9 election. The information is from BNR. And one small detail: the company was the only one that submitted documents for participation in the procedure. In any case, we have looked at everything in our country. But hardly anyone can say why competitive procedures are conducted with one participant.
The Deputy Chairman of the CEC Emil Voinov explained:
“Siela Norma” should prepare an electronic ballot for the elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and for people’s representatives in the version used in the elections for municipal councilors and for mayors, and the ballot for people’s representatives should be visualized first and then – the ballot for members of the European Parliament”.
“Siela Norma” has presented to the CEC a version of an electronic bulletin. According to the public order, the company will carry out prevention and diagnostics of the devices, technical service on pre-election and election day, as well as their transportation to places.
At this stage, it is planned that there will be voting machines on June 9 in 9,346 sections in the country. There are more than 300 registered voters in them.
The number of voters in the preliminary voting for the Bulgarian MEPs is 6,157,220. There are currently 6,639,000 voters with the right to vote for the elections for national representatives.
