The organizers of the festival hope to hold the event in a month – on July 15 – and add that the purchased tickets will be valid.
The I Love Cider 2023 festival, which was supposed to take place on Saturday, June 17, in the Russian capital Moscow, was postponed at the request of local authorities due to mass poisoning in the Russian Federation with a drink. This is stated in the appeal on the website of the festival.
“Over the past week, we have all witnessed a terrible tragedy that caused many casualties, and, as a result, the growth of the information background that distorts the truth about traditional cider. The news, comments and complaint led to strong recommendations from the authorities to reschedule the festival,” the notice reads.
The festival has been tentatively rescheduled for July 15th. In addition, tickets purchased for the event are still valid.
Recall that the first cases of poisoning of people in Russia became known as early as June 5.
The drink was produced by LLC in the Samara region. Local authorities have warned that the use of counterfeit alcohol is fraught with poisoning up to death.
Earlier it was reported that the shipment and supply of dangerous products is blocked.
