Only Oskars Cibulskis Among Latvian hockey players, he played successfully in the Czech top league games on Friday, with Litvinov’s “Verva” losing, but the other three clubs celebrated the victory.
Tršineca’s “Ocelārži”, represented by defender Guntis Galviņš, won 4: 2 (1: 1, 1: 0, 2: 1) over Litvīnova’s “Verva”, represented by Oskars Cibuļskis and Uvja Balinska, who was the only loser in this round with a Latvian player in line.
The head played for 16 minutes and 29 seconds, throwing four times on the goal and reaching +/- -1.
Without playing Balinskis in the ranks of opponents, Cibuļskis spent 19 minutes and 51 seconds on the field, during which he once scored successfully, finishing with +/- score +1. He assisted Patrik Zdrāhal in scoring the first goal of the match, leading the guests to the lead with 1: 0.
Brno “Kometa”, represented by defender Ralph Freibergs, won the house even more convincingly, beating Olomouc 5: 1 (2: 0, 0: 0, 3: 1). Freibergs finished with a +/- score of -1 in the 15 minutes and 38 seconds he played.
In another match, Mlada Boleslav, represented by striker Māris Bičevskis, played Hradec Kralov’s Mountfield 5: 2 (0: 0, 1: 1, 4: 1).
Bichevsky played for 12 minutes and 58 seconds, during which time he scored twice, winning three of the seven throws and reaching +/- -1.
This season, 14 teams play in the strongest league in the Czech Republic. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the units have played a different number of games – from 15 to 19 matches. The highest of Latvian teams in the table is “Ocelārži”, which is the leader with 42 points in 15 games. “Mlada Boleslav” is fifth with 31 points in 16 games, Freiberg’s club with 20 points in 15 duels can be found three positions below, and “Verva” with 13 points in 15 fights is in 13th place.
